Project Security Manager (m/f/d)

in full or part time (Ref.Nr. R0121620)

for our activities in the field of transportation at our headquarters in Ditzingen near Stuttgart

You will enjoy having this responsibility:

Management of all security aspects and requirements within a project in railway domain

It also involves the following tasks:

  • Operates within the Thales security policy
  • Provides valid estimates for security engineering activities
  • Creates and manages the project Security Management Plan and gaining agreement from the Engineering Security Authority
  • Identifying Legislation, Regulation, Standards and Policy relating to the Solution and monitoring changes
  • Creates and maintains the project Security Risk Log
  • Maintains the Solution Security Requirements.
  • Defines a valid and acceptable Security Case
  • Defines and maintains security baseline
  • Liaises with external stakeholders for solution security
  • Supports audits and the investigation of incidents and accidents
  • Issues Security Statements and appropriate certification prior to interim, partial or final release of Solutions
  • Endorsing Solution Security Statements to confirm process compliance and identification of security risks
  • Archives the Security Case material at appropriate project milestones
  • Ensures effective in-service reporting mechanisms exist and that security issues are identified and resolved
  • Tasks Security Engineers to undertake project security activities

You have:

  • Technical studies Bachelor / Master degree – preferably information technology / information security
  • experience in the information security domain and product development
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 62443 and best practices of security principles
  • Very good English skills, good German skills preferable
  • Lead and organize a team of security engineers in the project context
  • Experience with international and multidisciplinary teams
  • Management of stakeholders within the project (commercial, customer, engineering…)
  • Focus on own responsibility and will to deliver (get things done)
