Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • To evaluate current processes, looking for ways to improve productivity and workflow and to propose adjustment to resources.
  • Map existing end-to-end business processes and develop new business processes in order to maintain an effective and efficient workplace.
  • Align process improvements linking to the Performance Plans of the Country Business Unit (CBU).
  • To continually seek excellence in processes though facilitation of process improvement workshops with support from transversal teams.
  • To cultivate and promote teamwork amongst transversal teams in order to seek out innovative suggestions and bold ideas to improve processes.
  • To work with stakeholder such as Process Owners and HODs to ensure new processes are well described. This will include the implementation of any Industry 4.0 changes.
  • To establish and recommend any necessary training or re-skilling of staff due to processes / workflow changes.
  • In his/her role of as process excellence manager, the candidate shall also assist in the deployment of lean practices within the CBU. The candidate will assist to drive the lean improvement projects/practices in coordination with Thales Lean Organization.


  • Minimum 7 – 10 years of working experience in manufacturing or repair operations.
  • Strong background in Lean projects implementation with proven track records of KPIs improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement new techniques and continuous improvement programs at all levels of manufacturing or repair operations
  • Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and able to facilitate teams and drive consensus in a transversal dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge and deployment of Process improvement techniques and methods, including Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, 6S, TPM and OEE.
  • Proven ability to recommend and integrated Industry I4.0 into existing systems would be desired.
  • To drive cultural change of the organization and encourage employee engagement.
  • Desired past experience include aerospace, electronics, automotive or mechanical Industries.
  • Certified Black/Green Belt or a Lean Expert an added advantage.
  • Degree/Masters in Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficient in Business intelligence tools such as MS PBI, Qlikview, SAP Business Objects a plus.
